Will a Glock 17 magazine work in a Glock 19?

Yes. Longer magazines from the same caliber family generally work in shorter frames and will stick out of the grip. The reverse does not work.

Are AR-15 magazines universal?

Most AR-15 magazines follow the STANAG pattern and interchange, but some rifles and calibers need specific magazines.
