A basic cleaning kit

Keep your firearm running with a basic kit: a rod or pull-through for your caliber, bore brushes, patches, solvent and lubricant. A cleaning mat and bore guide protect your gun and your bench.

For heavier work, gunsmithing tools like punches, a bench block and proper screwdriver bits keep pins and screws from getting damaged.

How often should I clean my gun?

A quick wipe and lube after each range trip keeps most guns running. Do a full clean based on round count and conditions, or as your manufacturer recommends.

Is CLP enough on its own?

CLP cleans, lubricates and protects in one bottle, which covers most routine cleaning. For heavy carbon or copper fouling, a dedicated solvent works faster.
