The Galil family features the trigger tab found in the Hiperfire XAK T-series triggers (T1, T2, and T3) to accommodate the larger gap between the safety and the rear of the trigger for most AKs. The Galil has tighter tolerance than AK variants, so the sear has been shortened for a better trigger squeeze and improved performance. Galil triggers come with proprietary cuts to work in the 7.62x39, 5.56 NATO, and 5.45x39 Galil Ace Gen 1 and Gen 2 models.
